      Good replacement lid after some modifications

      We had to use a belt sander to remove about 3/16" of the lip that hangs down around the bottom because it was too thick (was expecting this after reading the item description). We used a standard wood hole saw to make our latch mechanism hole and that worked pretty well with very little tear out/splintering. I do feel like the shipping price is pretty steep for what it is, but there's no other options out there for replacement. I would have bought it two years ago if the shipping wasn't $80, glad to see there was at least a $40 ground option now.

      SP67 doesn't fit

      The lip around the swim platform lid is almost exactly 0.2 inches larger than the original on my 2006 Chaparral SSi 246. Some machining will be necessary to make it fit correctly.

      Had to make hole for latch. They state product weighs 40 Lbs shipping but post office charges 4 lbs.

      My order was delivered in about 3 or 4 days after I ordered- standard shipping. No issues with it. I did have to drill my own holes but I knew that at the time I ordered it. Seems to be the perfect replacement for the hatch lid I cracked.
