Surface Preparation:
- Thoroughly clean the application area using soap and water to remove dirt and debris.
- Wipe the surface with isopropyl alcohol to eliminate any remaining wax, grease, or residue.
- Ensure the surface is completely dry before installation.
Installation Steps:
- Measure and lightly mark your alignment points using masking tape to ensure straight placement.
- Peel back a small portion of the backing and begin applying the stripe gradually, working from one end to the other.
- Use a plastic squeegee or applicator tool to press the stripe down as you go, smoothing out air bubbles.
- Apply firm, even pressure across the entire stripe once installed.
Helpful Tips:
- Install in a controlled environment between 60°F and 80°F for best adhesion.
- Avoid stretching the pinstripe during application.
- If needed, a light mist of water with a few drops of dish soap can allow minor repositioning before final adhesion (only if the product allows wet installation).
- Allow 24 hours before washing or exposing the area to heavy moisture.
