This product is an oem window strut for Parker boat windshield. My originals lasted 20 years and then the tension knob broke off each one after another due to corrosion. No complaints since I got 20 years out of them in marine environment. Reason
This product is an oem window strut for Parker boats windshield. My originals lasted 20 years and then one after another the tensioning knobs broke off due to corrosion. Can’t complain about 20 years in marine environment. Reason for only 3 stars is that windows tend to slip closed unless you tighten the knobs a lot. The mechanism slips down the shaft. Some people drill holes in the shaft to make a “stop” and use a metal pin to hold. However I don’t want to weaken the shafts by drilling them.
